An inclusive day-camp experience for elementary & middle schoolers of all abilities
At Thrive Camp, we create inclusive environments that build connections, strengthen faith and provide unexpected opportunities… for students of all abilities!
WHO: Campers are students currently in grade K – 8 and Crew help make camp happen
WHEN: July 1st, 8th, 15th from 10am – 2pm
WHERE: Uniontown Bible Church, Crossroads Hampstead, Crossroads Westminster
What to expect
For each camp day, kids have opportunities to enjoy music, Bible teaching, arts & crafts and field trips adapted to each camper’s abilities. Each child will be paired up with a friend for the week. Campers bring a lunch packed from home and are provided snacks while at camp. Apply as a camper, a camper buddy or a crew member for each of our opportunities to thrive!
How can I help?
Volunteers needed: We’re looking for energetic, patient and passionate crew members to share God’s love with kids of all abilities! Upper elementary and middle school students may apply as a camper in order to serve as a one-on-one buddy for another camper. High school students and older may apply for crew to serve as a one-on-one buddy, a small group leader, or in one of the various behind-the-scenes roles. Crew members must complete electronic and/ or in person trainings to serve. Click here for the Crew Job Descriptions & Expectations.
